2024 Haiku Contest – The Winners!

2024 Haiku Contest Results

Congratulations to the winners of the Dreamers 2024 Haiku Contest!

2022 Haiku Contest, 2023 Haiku Contest, 2024 Haiku Contest

Each year, as the number of submissions to our Haiku Contest grows, selecting winners becomes an increasingly rewarding challenge. For 2024, we are excited to announce the winners: first, second, third place, and honourable mention, all chosen from an exceptional pool of haiku entries.

We are incredibly thankful to our esteemed judges. Dr. Reinekke Lengelle, writing professor at Athabasca University in Canada, has brought her deep expertise to the contest since its launch in 2018. She teaches courses such as “Writing the Self” and is the author of the acclaimed book Writing the Self in Bereavement.

This year, we also had the honour of welcoming Dr. Bob Fecho, writing professor at Columbia University in NYC, USA, as our guest judge. His fresh perspective and keen insight added depth to the selection process, helping us choose the haiku that best represent the beauty and simplicity of this timeless form.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated, and now, without further delay, we are thrilled to share the winning haikus of 2024!
