Retreat to the cozy Munro glamping bunkie, named for the renowned Canadian author, Alice Munro. Furnished with a comfortable double bed, essential amenities like electricity, a side table, and a lamp, as well as a small heater and AC for utmost comfort. Parquet floors lend a touch of charm while an array of books by Alice Munro awaits your perusal.
A functional desk with an office chair and a cozy lounge chair provide ample space to relax and work. Additionally, all bedding is thoughtfully provided for your convenience. To light up your outdoor adventures, a powerful lantern accompanies you throughout the property.
The Munroe Bunkie is adorably quaint. We only stayed for a couple of days, but it was a nice space to come back to and relax after long days out on adventures. You’re right off the major road that takes you 45 minutes up to Tobermory, where we hiked, explored and kayaked. You’re only an 18 minute drive to Bruce Caves which were a wonder to see. Would definitely love to come back! And the stars are INCREDIBLE!

About us
At the Dreamers Writing Farm, we offer writing retreats, self-directed residencies, writing workshops, and literary-themed general accommodations. During your stay, visit the Secret Garden in the woods, attend a healing writing workshop in the Dreamers Studio, or hang out with our Nigerian dwarf goats, the Brothers and our three little pigs, the Spice Girls.
The Dreamers Writing Farm is located in Hepworth, Ontario, Canada, just minutes from multiple Bruce Trail access points.
We’re only 10 min from Sauble Beach, one of the longest freshwater beaches in Canada, and 7 min from Wiarton, famous for the weather predicting groundhog, Wiarton Willy. We’re also just down the road from an ATV access point, seconds from an OFSC snowmobile trail, minutes from the Sawmill Nordic Centre where you can cross-country ski or snowshoe, and we border the Northern Dunes Golf Club.
